DIGITAL VELOCITY MONITOR PTV-500

UNIVERSAL Handy Velocity Monitor PTV-500 is designed to determine velocity of air/flue gas in duct /pipe/chimney . Institutions where determination of the rate of flow inside a chimney is of interest, this instrument can be used very conveniently to measure the total quantity/volume of emissions. UNIVERSAL Handy Velocity Monitor PTV-500 is provided with a Digital Pyrometer and Thermocouple for measurement of temperature. A digital pressure cell is incorporated in a hand held unit for the measurement of pressure in mm of H,O directly along with a pitot tube. The pitot tube has been provided with an extendable arm for easy transportation.

RESPIRABLE DUST SAMPLER

The AQS 136 BL sampler uses an improved cyclone with sharper cutoff (D50 at 10 microns) to separate the coarser particulates from the air stream before filtering it on the glass microfibre filter. By using the AQS 136 BL, measurement of Respirable Particulate Matter can be done accurately and TSPM can also be assessed by collection of dust retained in the cyclone cup. Respirable Dust Sampler AQS 136 BL is designed and developed for monitoring of PM10 (based on cyclonic flow technique) meets most of the requirement of BIS 5182 (Part 23) 2006.

HANDY SAMPLER

Universal Scientific Instruments and calibration Handy Sampler IAQS 012 has been developed to fulfill this critical need. The Universal IAQS 012 system uses a battery operated pump to draw air thorough a suitable absorption solution contained in an impinger. If necessary, 2 impingers can be used in series to monitor 2 gaseous pollutants. There is an additional provision to determine suspended particulates in the same exercise by using the open sampling head which takes 25mm diameter filters. Since the IAQS 012 sampler uses wet chemical methods to sample gaseous toxicants, the same hardware can be used to sample a variety of pollutants including oxides of sulphur and nitrogen, ammonia, sulphides, etc.

GASEOUS SAMPLING ATTACHMENT AQS 116TE

The AQS 116TE Gaseous Pollutants Sampling Attachment has been designed for monitoring Gaseous Pollutants like SO2, NO2, Cl2, H2S, O3, NH3 etc. in ambient air. The AQS 116TE is an independent stand-alone monitoring instrument (unlike our gaseous sampling attachments AQS 132TE and AQS 132 TE that need to be paired with a dust sampler). A suction pump is also made an integral part of the sampler, besides a flow-meter, time totalizer and timer. Sampled air is bubbled through suitable reagents that absorb specific gaseous pollutants and the absorbing media analyzed as per standard wet chemical methods.

Working Principle: Electromagnetic Flowmeters are based on Faraday's Law of Electromagnetic Induction. In an Electromagnetic Flowmeter, the magnetic field is generated by a set of coils. As the conductive liquid passes through the electromagnetic field, an electric voltage is induced in the liquid which is directly proportional to its velocity. This induced voltage is perpendicular to both, the liquid flow direction and the electromagnetic field direction. The voltage sensed by the electrodes is further processed by the transmitter to give standardised output signal or displayed in appropriate engineering unit.
